Now operating within the Wrightflow Technologies group of the IDEX Corporation, Wright Pump was formed in 1996 by a group of former senior employees of another circumferential piston pump manufacturer.
Spares then Pumps (Waukesha Pump Compatible)
The Wright Pump organisation started out as a manufacturer of high quality drop-in replacement pump parts that met or exceeded original equipment specifications for the Waukesha Universal I and II series pumps. The success of this pump spare parts business logically led on to the manufacturing of circumferential piston pumps - the TRA10 and TRA20 series. These pumps are functionally and dimensionally interchangeable with the Waukesha Universal I and II series pumps. These pumps provide customers with higher quality, higher specification pumps at lower costs compared to their Waukesha Pump equivalents.
Next came Centrifugal Pumps (Fristam Compatible)
In late 2005, Wright Pump extended its sanitary product line through the addition of a new family of ultra-pure centrifugal pumps, the TRA400 series, positioning them in as a leading hygienic pump manufacturer in the global sanitary, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
